What’s the Community up to in the Lockdown? (May 2020)

During the lockdown there’s perhaps more new and exciting activities in the Dutch community than normal. If you want to keep up to date with innovation, up-skilling and opportunities for exchanging experiences there’s plenty of local options; equally if you just fancy a chat then we’ve got you covered too.

Here’s a selection of what’s going on in May (most organised by us volunteers/enthusiasts, but also Salesforce NL has a major webinar series in the middle of the month). This month also sees the launch of two new groups, one based in Groningen and a Women in Tech group based in Den Haag.

Virtual Meetings got off to a good start last month

7th May: Groningen User Group (in Dutch).

Goed nieuws! Groningen Salesforce User Group organiseert haar eerste webinar. Een webinar met: Field Service Management – een introductie. RSVP.

9th May: Salesforce Saturday – Amsterdam (meets every 3 weeks)

In our next meetup the founder of FocusOnForce, Martin Gessner, will be telling his story. RSVP.

12th & 14th May: “Leading through change”

Salesforce NL are putting on a series of EMEA-focused webinars, starting off with the visionary Peter Coffee (and we used that term advisably) and Bugaboo. The series then continues with role-specific and industry-specific insights. RSVP.

15th May: NEW GROUP! Den Haag Women In Tech

We will be getting together and have some virtual fun while we network, share ideas and get/give tips on how to get the most out of Salesforce. RSVP.

16th May: Virtual Dreamin (afternoon onwards)

A global online conference for Admins, Developers and Architects roles in any enterprise projects. Therefore we have dedicated tracks for all these roles and three keynote speakers from Salesforce, people at the heart of the Trailblazer community. RSVP.

19th May: Amsterdam User Group (main meetings every two months)

This time around we have two presentations and certification vouchers to be won! Flow-spiration: Admin Tasks you’ve not thought to automate AND your field-based workforce: tackling common productivity issues. The usual fun and mild chaos are guaranteed 🙂 RSVP.

From the last Amsterdam User Group

23rd May: Salesforce Saturday – Den Haag (meets monthly)

This group is for anyone looking to introduce themselves to the Salesforce ecosystem or build upon their existing knowledge and expertise. We use this time mainly to get to know each other and to discuss everything related to Salesforce.

This month we’re going to have a special focus on the Salesforce security model, in response to previous requests! RSVP.

Developer User Group (meets monthly)

There will be a Developer Group in May, details currently being finalised. Click “Follow Us” on our events page to be kept up to date.
